Job Description

TLS Landscape Architecture is seeking a landscape designer with a minimum of 1.5 to 3 years of experience in landscape master planning and landscape design with proven design and problem-solving skills from concept through implementation.

TLS is a critical design practice rooted in the craft of material, respect for communities, and the spirit of collaboration. Our design culture is expressed in an active and dynamic studio working from Berkeley and Shanghai. We work on a range of high-profile projects in China and internationally and are capable in the full range of landscape design services. Responsibilities

  • Participate in a variety of project types and scales including urban landscape planning, large and small public open-spaces, institutional and campus landscape, commercial and mixed-use landscape design, waterfronts, and restoration projects.
  • Assist project manager and work with the whole team to accomplish tasks during full project scope from conceptual design through construction.

Job Requirements

  •  A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program.
  • 1.5 to 3 years minimum of landscape architectural design experience.
  • Excellent design and graphic communication skills: proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Lumion and Sketch Up, and Rhino.
  • Innovative way of thinking on design and detail implementation.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment.
